The Bachchan family got together for the book launch of ‘Bachchanalia’ — the films and memorabilia of Amitabh Bachchan. And to grace the occasion the guest of honour was none other than the Khan who has been making waves of late — Aamir Khan.

The Big B and A Khan was seen together, this time it was no war of words nor a number game, it was a mutual admiration society, as Aamir Khan was invited to launch ‘Bachchanalia’.

On this occassion, Aamir Khan himself was all praises for the superstar of the millenium. He said, “Often I find in this line that success is not directly proportionate to talent and hard work. But here is one case where it is certainly proportionate to the talent and hardwork Mr Bachchan has.”

Well, all that one can wonder is who Aamir Khan is hinting at. However, his statement did not come as a surprise, as much as was Abhishek Bachchan flaunting his look for Mani Ratnam’s film ‘Ravana’. Both Abhishek and Aishwarya, who were present at the function expressed joy and honour to be a part of the Bachchan family.

They said, “As a family we are very proud and humbled by the gesture for the release of this book.”

The last word at the function, without any surprise, came from the man of the moment Amitabh Bachchan himself. He said, “It has been a wonderful experience. I am very happy that somebody has documented this. I feel obliged and honoured.”
